The main activities of the GAMI.FI.RE project are:

– development of a framework for upgrading financial competences in VET based on VET students’ needs

– developing a gamified e-learning platform

– providing training to VET teachers on how to use the TOOLKIT to enhance their teaching

– pilot testing the platform, and evaluating the effectiveness and usability of the platform

– activities for inclusion of new curriculum into VET – campaign, white paper, and events with stakeholders.

Target groups

The project’s target group includes secondary school teachers, professionals from adult education VET providers, students of vocational education with weak social backgrounds, local and regional authorities, policymakers, and the general public.

The project expects to achieve several results:

– the creation of innovative and effective gamified learning materials for upgrading financial literacy and integrating into the VET field

– increased financial literacy among vulnerable VET students and improved their future employability opportunities

– improved quality of VET, including trained VET providers

– wider awareness of the importance of financial literacy among the community for wellbeing and a sustainable future.

Project Description

GAMI.FI.RE project addresses an urgent need for financial literacy and career readiness among young adults in Europe, and is aligned with the EU’s priorities for vocational education and training, innovation, and digital transformation. Therefore, we believe that our project should be funded in order to make a significant impact on the lives and futures of young people in Europe and ensure sustainable future and safe for next generation.

Project aims

The GAMI.FI.RE project aims to enhance the financial literacy and career readiness of VET students, with a particular focus on those from vulnerable groups, by utilizing gamification as an innovative and effective tool for teaching and learning. The project aims to support VET educators in using gamification as a means to increase student engagement and motivation, while also providing an interactive and dynamic learning experience that can help to improve students’ employability opportunities.
